A warm welcome is assured at this attractive stone Victorian terrace house, conveniently located just over a mile south of Princes Street on the main A7.
Well located for all Edinburgh's amenities, Gifford House offers a pleasant, relaxing stay, with rooms of a high standard. Although lying on a main bus route, the area behind Gifford House is quiet and peaceful, and the rear bedrooms enjoy superb panoramic views towards Salisbury's Crags and the extinct volcano of Arthur's Seat.
With its warm and friendly atmosphere, Gifford House is a place guests return to, and recommend to their friends. A full Scottish breakfast is served, with a large selection of dishes including smoked fish, mackerel and kippers. Special diets are also catered for if required.

Gifford House offers 3 lovely family rooms, all of which are of a very high standard with many homely extras. The 2 larger rooms are to the front of Gifford House: room 4 is on the first floor, while room 8 is on the 2nd floor and has excellent views towards the Pentland Hills. The smaller of the family rooms is room 2, which is to rear of the first floor and is very peaceful, looking out towards Arthur's Seat Rooms 4 and 8 can sleep up to 4 people. Room 2 can sleep up to 3 people. Prices based on 2 adults sharing. Extra adults will be charged per person, to be payable on arrival. Please state when making your reservation if extra guests will be staying.
Spacious double room decorated to a high standard with your comfort in mind. Three rooms are situated at the back of the house and are very quiet and peaceful. From the back rooms there are excellent views of Arthur's Seat. From the front rooms there are excellent views of the Pentland Hills. When booking please your estimated time of arrival.
Gifford House is located approximately 1.25 miles South of the city centre, on the main A7. Lying only four miles from Sherriff Hall Junction of Edinburgh City by-pass, follow signs Edinburgh city centre A7, it is within a few yards of the Commonwealth Pool, Holyrood Park and Golf Course. There is ample off street parking.
